Fierce Win the Rose City Challenge
Today at the Rose City Basketball Challenge in East Hamption, CT… 13-Under Lipow got progressively stronger with each of their 3 games. The Fierce lost in overtime to New Haven Boys & Girls despite 14 points from Griffin Harding, but bounced back with a double digit win over RABC led by a tenacious 21 points from Jack Petrafesa and 10 efficient points from Sean Racette.
Then to take the tournament trophy away from defending champ Team 10, Max Andrews stepped up with 14 points and a lock-down defensive performance on Team 10’s go-to-scorer, Thomas Schindler drilled clutch timely shots to tally 8 points, and Stephen Keating took over in the paint. The Fierce came together for a complete team effort on both sides of the ball, and held a potent offense to only 35 points. Congratulations Fierce!
