Wakeman’s basketball leagues provide a friendly atmosphere for coaches to work with small teams of boys or girls. In this environment, they learn the basics of basketball and good sportsmanship while having fun and making new friends.

The NEW Developmental Basketball League for Kindergarten through 2nd grade is entering it’s second season after a hugely successful trial launch last year. It takes place Saturday mornings beginning December 7.

The long-standing and popular Pee Wee Basketball League for Grades 3 through 5 is a great introductory league for boys and girls, with divisions organized by age and gender. Teams practice one night per week and typically play one game per weekend. Starts November 11.

Junior Basketball League is for Grades 6 through 8 and begins February 3. This league is a structured environment with separate divisions by grade, with a 7-game regular season and then a single elimination playoff to crown a champion.

The famous Red Baker 4-on-4 League for Grades 9 through 12 tips off on January 2. Known as the “Greatest League on Earth”, members may form their own team of 7-8 players to vie for the coveted Red Baker League Championship Title.
